A temperature sensor built into the RF handle allows users to monitor patients’ skin temperature in real time and adjust the treatment accordingly. Skincare professionals using the APOLLO DUET can precisely adjust all parameters, including the technologies and Derma Boost solutions used, the target skin heating or cooling temperature, the intensity of radio frequency (RF) and electrical current, and the polarity of iontophoresis.

By carefully setting all of these parameters, APOLLO DUET users can tailor the skincare routine to their clients’ specific skin condition, personal tolerance level, and established therapeutic goals.

Electroporation and iontophoresis

Apollo Duet offers a dual function, where both electroporation and iontophoresis are performed at the same time. This function results in a particularly effective introduction of the electrolytic serum into the deep layers of the skin. This reduces or completely eliminates skin problems, restores healthy skin function, and rejuvenates the appearance of the skin.

This unique powerful duo of electroporation and iontophoresis creates an effective environment for restoring skin structure and perfectly copes with various skin conditions, including acne, skin inflammation, wrinkles, various pigmentation, dry and irritated skin, seborrhea, rosacea, couperose, etc.

Multipolar radio frequency

Apollo Duet offers advanced multipolar radio frequency functionality, which achieves highly effective skin rejuvenation results.

The Apollo Duet RD applicator emits radio frequency currents that pulse through 4 electrodes. When these currents enter the skin, the electromagnetic energy heats the water molecules in the dermis to a temperature of 42°C.

Effective heating of the skin matrix:

Causes coagulation of collagen fibers. The contraction of these fibers makes the skin firmer and more elastic.

Activates skin regeneration processes - heat stimulates dermal fibroblast cells to produce new collagen and promotes the formation of hyaluronic acid.

Improves blood circulation at the treatment site. This temporary hyperemia causes hydration of the outer layers of the skin, resulting in a more vibrant and even skin tone.

The overall result of all the above processes is more elastic and firmer skin, which is better hydrated and has fewer wrinkles after the procedure. This anti-aging effect is noticeable after the first procedure.
